I was a videographer in the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2001. When I left the Marine Corps, it was several years before I would be able to edit video again, as it had still not yet become affordable to many consumers including myself. Computers had not yet evolved to meet the specifications required to process video. It wasn’t until 2005 that I was finally able to edit video from home, and it is still one of my favorite and most enjoyable past times. Here is a list of some of my personal favorites.

The Team: Part 2

Pitch Don’t Kill My Vibe was first released on August 24, 2019. The video is a series of short episodes following the Playground Sports co-ed softball team, Pitch Don’t Kill My Vibe. The team was created by Troy Awbrey in the summer of 2019 following a sub-par performance during a season playing with his work team. Awbrey then decided to enlist his friends in the hopes of building a championship caliber team that would help him continue his success and build on his legacy with Playground Sports in the years to come. Episode II was produced on September 7, 2019. In this episode, First Baseman Jason Skinner, makes a bold prediction following the first game of the season.

National Night Out

The first Tuesday during August every year is National Night Out. The event is an opportunity for law enforcement personnel and First Responders to build relationships in the community with partners and neighbors. This year, the event was sponsored by the Eugene Police Department and Fred Meyer and hosted by the The Eugene Emeralds minor league baseball team at PK Park on MLK Boulevard next to Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
