This is the second year that Eugene Police have done the Shop With A Cop event during the holidays (more Info below). I put together a basic video story about the event last year, but thought it would be fun to put a mic on a few officers this year, like I did last year during Coffee With A Cop.

EVENT INFO: Eugene Police officers teamed up with 35 children to shop for holiday gifts for their families (siblings and parents) as well as non-perishable food to help provide a holiday dinner. All costs are covered through generous donations from the Eugene Police Foundation and Northwest Community Credit Union, with thanks to Fred Meyer’s who has partnered with EPD on the venue, considerable discounts on purchases, donation of a portion of breakfast for the children, and a holiday tree. Gifts were wrapped by EPD volunteers and employees.
